NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — Christmas is a season of tradition, and no one knows that better than Grand Ole Opry stars and multi-Grammy nominees Dailey & Vincent.
“Christmas music has always been some of my favorite music,” said Jamie Dailey. “Every year we take our brand of Christmas music on the road to select stops on tour and there is no better way to end our tour season than singing Christmas music!”
Beginning on November 30, Dailey & Vincent will bring their treasured Spirit of Christmas Tour to 10 cities, as they explore the humanity and spirituality of the season, diving headfirst into the American heritage of Christmas. (Complete schedule follows)
“Christmas is a season that really does bring out the best in all of us,” said Darrin Vincent. “It’s one of the happiest, most joyful times of the year. We love celebrating the season with our friends and families a holiday that brings us all together and makes us forget petty differences in favor of honoring the love of our Savior Jesus who came to earth as a baby.”
Riding a wave of critical acclaim for their brand new release, Patriots & Poets, Dailey & Vincent will be backed by one of the best bands on tour today. Generally regarded among the most reputable and elite entertainers in American music, Dailey & Vincent’s sound is a concoction of traditional country, gospel and bluegrass blended together by the fantastically instinctive vocal blends of Dailey's tenor and Vincent's reedy harmonies.
“Stand back or face the force of nature that is this astounding ensemble,” wrote respected critic Robert K. Oermann for Music Row Magazine. “Take it from me, there’s a reason they’ve earned three Grammy nominations, won four Dove Awards, claimed an astounding 35 IBMA honors (including three as Entertainers of the Year) and landed their own show on RFD.”
Bluegrass Today agreed: “Dailey & Vincent are easily some of the very best entertainers in bluegrass music. They continue to expand their horizons on Patriots & Poets, keeping one foot planted in their bluegrass roots but reaching out to embrace other forms of acoustic-based music.” ————————————
